University’s CARE Team is a group, chaired by the Director of Student Success, that responds to students in distress both academically and otherwise.
C.A.R.E. stands for Campus Action Response and Engagement
The Brescia University CARE Team includes members from the following areas:
- University Counseling
- Residence Life
- Student Leadership Development
- Professional Advising
- Athletics
- Academic Affairs
- Student Affairs
CARE Team Goals are:
- Review notices received from faculty, staff, students, and/or community members; conduct follow-up to determine an appropriate response.
- Intervene early to provide support and response to students for their success and well-being.
- Coordinate University follow-up and on-going support for students.
